Short version: we collect your email address only if you subscribe to the newsletter, and we use it only to send you the newsletter.

What we collect

• Newsletter — your email address, when you subscribe. Nothing else.
• Directory submissions — when you suggest a tool or introduce yourself as a filmmaker: the name, link, description, and optional visual you provide, plus your email so we can follow up. Public listing only ever includes the tool/studio information — never your email.

How it's processed

Subscriptions are managed by Buttondown, our newsletter provider. Your address is never sold, shared, or used for anything other than sending the monthly letter.

Your rights

Every email includes an unsubscribe link — one click and you're out, no questions asked. For access, correction, or deletion of your data (GDPR), write to contact@filmmaker.vision and we'll take care of it promptly.
